Call Transfer

Call Transfer allows you to transfer a call to any other number within the Duquesne University system. You can speak with the called person to announce the call before completing the transfer.

To use call transfer:

• Tell the person that you are speaking with that you are going to transfer the call
• Press the switchhook, flash or talk button.
• Listen for dial tone
• Dial desired party (4-digit extension)
• Announce the call
• Hang up
• If the called number is busy or does not answer, press the switchhook, flash or talk button twice to return to the original call
