Tone Block
(Disable call waiting)

When you do not wish to be disturbed during a call, you can temporarily deactivate Call Waiting by using the Tone Block feature before you make the call or at any time during the call.

To use this feature :

Before making a call
• Pick up the handset
• Listen for dial tone
• Dial *70
• Listen for confirmation tone
• Place your call

During a call
• Tell the person that you are speaking with that you are going to cancel your Call Waiting
• Press the switchhook, flash or talk button
• Listen for dial tone
• Dial *70
• You will be automatically connected to your call

Note: Call Waiting will be automatically reactivated when you hang up.
